Hi, I’m Chris Kusuma

I’m a former private equity investment professional who became fascinated with the human mind and how it can drive – and hinder – performance.

We live in a culture obsessed with performance. Too often, unfortunately, high performance is mistaken for hustle culture and traps us in toxic productivity.

To make peak performance sustainable we must define what it really means to us as individuals – whether it’s excelling in the day-to-day demands of personal and professional life or breaking through mental barriers to explore the limits of what’s possible.

This led me to pursue an MSc in Performance Psychology at Bangor University and its Institute for the Psychology of Elite Performance. In addition, I completed the Psychology for High Performance program at Stanford.

I hold a post-graduate certificate in executive coaching from Henley Business School and am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am also a member of the Henley Centre for Coaching.

The foundation of my work is rooted in sports psychology, and I believe there is significant potential for its concepts in the corporate world to improve employee performance, motivation, collaboration, and wellbeing.

One sport that I’m passionate about is boxing, and I work as a performance coach at a boxing club in London, collaborating with athletes to train their minds and help them achieve their goals. I also volunteer as a leadership development coach at Sported, a UK charity supporting grassroots sports clubs.

I’m based in London and love the city’s international energy, which mirrors my own multicultural background. I am both German and British and I’ve lived and worked across Europe, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa, while building my career with large US and European investment firms for over a decade.

I believe the only way to achieve sustainable high performance is through a holistic approach to life. That’s why I’m on a mission to partner with individuals and teams who are ready to create a high-performance mental framework – a mindset they can rely on, both in their personal and professional pursuits.
